The NY Giants Rush edition of “Rant & Rave” starts now as we deliver a new 2014 update. One liners, questions, facts, opinions and random thoughts.
Football is almost here...lets strap it up!
Rant: Walter “Our Secondary is as good as Seattle” Thurmond better make plays from day 1 or his quote his going to bring the heat heavy down on his head.
Rave: A source close to the New York Giants told me the Giants are using GPS units to track athletic metrics of their players.
Rant: Aren’t you just sick and tired of having someone go down before the opening day kickoff every year( see Domenik Hixon, Stevie Brown, Andre Brown, Jon Beason).
Rave: Stevie Brown is back and fans look forward to the ball hawk rumbling down the sidelines with the rock in tow.
Rant: JPP healthy…JPP unhealthy… JPP healthy…JPP unhealthy. I sure hope Jerry Reese knows what he is doing with only having four pass rushers in camp.
Rave: DRC welcome to New York! Lets get it done. The fans are pumped to have a DB that can cover and score on an interception.
Rant: Mark Herzlich is every where promoting his new book. Shouldn’t he be in the classroom, the weight room or the film room?
Rave: Eli and McAdoo are made for each other. They both like going down field and both like to keep everything close to the vest. Eli is going to have monster year.
Rant: Will the real starting tight end for the New York Giants please stand up. Why did the Giants not renew Bear Pascoe’s contract. He could block and caught every pass thrown him.
Rave: Peyton Hillis, now wearing No.33…might be in the best shape of his career.
Rant: Now that the team has been released for summer…Odell Beckham Jr. best come to Giants training camp in the best shape of his life. The hamstring strain during the past week was just lame.
Rave: Justin Pugh put on 13 pounds of muscle in the off season with the goal of being bigger, better and meaner. Gotta love this kid.
