In a year where there were little bright spots during the Giants lost season, the Antrel Rolle Pro Bowl snub is like salt in the wound.

While many safeties are one dimensions, Antrel Rolle puts on a clinic weekly how to be a complete player.  Great tackling skills, big hits, unselfish play, interceptions, a leader in the locker room and between the lines every week.

Let’s not forget to mention he has played with 4 different corner backs(Webster, Ross, Hosley, and McBride).  This season has been Antrel Rolle’s finest as a New York Giant and if you have any doubt regarding his play, I would only point to the roster.   The roster has been depleted of pass rushers and linebackers since he has worn a blue No. 26.

His 6 interceptions ranks him second in the NFL tied with Brandon Boykin from Philadelphia and his 98 tackles leads the team.   Another reason to point out that the Pro Bowl is a joke from the voting to the game itself.   This popularity contest needed to be abolished along time ago.
