The New York Giants finally restored faith in the weary by signing Tight End and rising star Brandon Myers.
Myers was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 2009 and was very under-utilized. In 2012 the Raiders Tight End had a break out year and hauled in 79 passes for 806 yards and 4 touch downs.
The 27 year old receiver will immediately be penciled in as the starter and will once again give Eli Manning a weapon that most linebackers will struggle against. Surprising the tight end was drafted in the 6th round from Iowa University where he caught 56 receptions for 665 yards and 9 touchdowns.
The big man who weights in at 6 ‘3″ 256 lbs. has 299 yards after the catch and averaged 10 yards a carry in 2012.
Terms of the contract have not yet been released.
