RETURN OF THE FREEMAN:

Devonta (confirmed ankle sprain) was back at the walk-through yesterday and was anticipated to return against the Eagles. However, he has had some setbacks today. He is a major TDB. With Gallman putting in work and a healthy Freeman expect these two players to bring some heat. If Freeman is down…Mr. Alfred Morris steps up as he did last week. Bam!

RETURN OF THE CROWDER

At last, rookie linebacker Tate Crowder was “transitioned” off injured reserve for his hamstring injury sustained over the Giant’s initial win against the Washington football team. Crowder scored the winning touchdown in week 6 proving his value despite being the final pick of the draft.
There really is no guarantee he will return against Philly, but he was back with the team. Whether we see him next week or this week— claw worthy!

KADEN SMITH

Most of us didn’t realize Kaden Smith was injured, but the TE did suffer a concussion. He was at walk-through, but only on a limited basis. He has cleared protocol and will suit up. Now…can we get the kid the ball. With Mr. Evan ‘butterfingers’ Engram receiving the most of the targets, Smith becomes an after thought. Why? Hello Garrett?

X. MCKINNEY

I know, I know—-I am hyped about this return too. H.C. Joe Judge has no intention of rushing Xavier McKinney (foot) back. However, he was seen running with the trainers during practice last week. This should not be confused with being BACK at practice. Smalls prediction is Week 12.

SMALLS CHEAT SHEET

* Leo Williams & Logan Ryan both did not practice but were excused for personal matters. Logan Ryan likely back with his family after his wife underwent surgery for an ectopic pregnancy (caught by giant’s trainers). Both will play.

* Golden Tate (selfish): He was back with the team and will play Sunday. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets targets and returns to his role. Mack coming for his roster slot.

* Sterling Shepard (toe/hip): I won’t beat a dead horse. Shep will be limited at practice the rest of the year, the playmaker needs rest so he can do just that: make plays.

*Slayton—I am not sold on Slayton not being injured. I am keeping my eyes peeled & a pack of claws ready for a change to his status.

Nothing to panic over g-family. Good things are on the horizon. Grab a claw and let’s beat the birds!!
